Return & Exchange Policy

At Chicdwell Home and Living, each product is carefully crafted and inspected before dispatch. We follow a strict 4-day return window to ensure timely resolution of genuine issues.


4-Day Return Window

  • Return or exchange requests must be raised within 4 days (96 hours) from the date of delivery

  • Requests raised after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances


Eligible Reasons for Return / Exchange

Returns are accepted only if the product delivered is:

  • Incorrect (different from what was ordered)

  • Damaged during transit

  • Manufacturing defective

The product must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled

  • In original packaging with all accessories intact


Exchange-Only Policy (No Standard Refunds)

  • Chicdwell follows a strict exchange-only policy

  • Refunds are not offered as part of the standard return process

  • Approved cases will be resolved via:

    • Product replacement, or

    • Part replacement / repair (if applicable)


Refund Requests (Exceptional Cases Only)

Refunds are considered only in exceptional circumstances and are not guaranteed.

To request a refund:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Detailed explanation for refund request

  • Clear photos or videos of the issue

All refund requests are subject to internal review and approval by the Chicdwell team.


Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if:

  • The issue is reported after 4 days of delivery

  • Damage is caused due to misuse, mishandling, or improper installation

  • The product shows signs of use

  • Natural variations in wood grain, cane weave, texture, or finish are observed
    (These are inherent characteristics of handcrafted products)


Exchange Processing

  • Once approved, exchanges are processed after inspection of the returned product

  • Exchange timelines depend on product availability and delivery location


Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement

  • Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled
